Matthew Donohue will be the man in the middle of City's trip to the Select Car Leasing Stadium this weekend.
Mark Robins side take on Reading in Championship action, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm.
Donohue, from Greater Manchester, last took charge of a Sky Blues fixture, back in April when he was the man in the middle for City's 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth.
So far this season, Donohue has taken charge of 14 fixtures across the Championship, League One and League Two, awarding 45 yellow cards and no red cards.
He will be assisted by Paul Hodskinson and Richard Wild with Darren Drysdale acting as his fourth official.
