What is iFollow?
iFollow offers fans the chance to watch selected live games and enjoy audio commentary from matches across the EFL.
What devices can I use for the iFollow service?
iFollow is available across desktop, mobile, tablet and app. Users watching matches live on a mobile will have to use the iFollow app, which is available via the App Store and Google Play Store by searching "Official Coventry City App”. There is currently no available app on the Amazon Appstore.

How much does an iFollow subscription cost?
For games available to watch live, Match Passes are available for £10. Season passes (offering only live audio commentary and access to video on demand) are available for £45. Monthly passes (audio commentary/VOD) are priced at £4.49.
What games can I watch live in the UK?
EFL Clubs will be able to live-stream in the UK and Ireland any league match via their respective iFollow (or equivalent) service that takes place outside the blocked hours of 14.45-17.15 on Saturday afternoons and that is not broadcast live on Sky Sports. Fixtures taking place on Bank Holidays or Easter will be unavailable for streaming.
What games are unavailable to watch live?
Games that take place inside the blocked hours of 14:45-17:15 on Saturday afternoons and games that are broadcast live on Sky Sports are unavailable to watch live. Fixtures taking place on Bank Holidays or Easter will also be unavailable for streaming.
If I live in the UK or Republic of Ireland and subscribe to iFollow, will I be able to watch games on iFollow when travelling abroad?
Yes – though please note you can only purchase games when based abroad with a local bank account and local address.
What commentary will be used on iFollow?
Coventry City will use the commentary from BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.
What is the quality of the match coverage?
Every match on iFollow will come with single camera coverage as standard, with the feed enhanced with commentary and graphics.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are all accepted forms of payment for iFollow
If I sign up for a season pass will it automatically renew after 12 months and will I get notification of this?
Season passes run from the date of purchase to July 16th following the completion of the EFL season. Users will be notified prior to renewal.

Why do fans in the UK and Republic of Ireland not have the same access to iFollow as international fans?
Under the EFL’s existing broadcast agreement with Sky Sports clubs are unable to offer fans in the UK or Republic of Ireland the same access to iFollow as international fans. Some games available to watch outside of the UK may therefore be unavailable to domestic subscribers.
If I have purchased a match pass, can I drop in and out of the coverage or join the match once it has started?
Yes, match pass holders can join the coverage at any time.
I am logged in elsewhere, but want to stream on another device. Is this possible?
Yes. The system will automatically stop playback on any other devices and the most recent log in will take precedent.
I would like to be able to buy the iFollow season pass for a club as a gift for someone else. How can I do that?
Gift passes are not currently available to purchase.
Can I create an iFollow account to purchase multiple match passes across various clubs?
A new account is needed for each club on the EFL Digital network. Please note that you can use the same e-mail account for each club, should you so wish.
I can't find a button to click through to the live video stream, how do I access it?
Please note that live video links become available thirty minutes before kick-off in the Match Centre. To locate the Match Centre sign in on your club’s website (top right of the page). Once signed in, select ‘Matches’ from the navigation bar and click on ‘Fixtures’. You can then select the relevant match.
Why can’t I watch certain games?
Domestic users will be able to watch any league match that takes place outside the blocked hours of 14.45-17.15 on Saturday afternoons and that is not broadcast live on Sky Sports. Fixtures taking place on Bank Holidays or Easter will be unavailable for streaming. Any other games are ‘blacked out’. All league matches will be available to watch again from Noon BST the day after the live event with an active iFollow premium subscription.
With an active iFollow premium subscription, Live Audio Commentary would be made available to you for games where live video is unavailable due to broadcast rights.
Why am I getting a message about ‘Territory Restrictions’?
The iFollow subscription is location specific and the use of VPN is prohibited as per our terms and conditions. For more information contact iFollow supportvia firstname.lastname@example.org or by using the live chat tool at the bottom right hand side of your club’s website.
My App isn’t working
First please verify that location services are enabled on your mobile device and test the app on Mobile Data and Wi-Fi to determine any connection differences.
If you are still facing the same issue please follow the steps below:
- Exit the application
- Delete the app.
- Turn your device on and off
- Re-install the app from the relevant App Store.
I’m getting a blank screen when I try to play video
First, please clear your browser cache and cookies, refresh your browser and try accessing content again. If you still have issues please check for any updates available for your current browser and make sure cookies and third-party cookies are enabled.
If you have the same issues after trying those suggestions please try using an alternative web browser (i.e. Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox, Safari and Edge) to eliminate any browser specific issues. Please be sure to check that the browser is up to date and that cookies and third-party cookies are enabled. Note that video is not available in private browsing mode.
How do I reset my password?
To reset your password, please follow these steps:
- Go to the club website you are signed up with
- Click on the sign in link
- Click the forgot password link
- Input the email address you used to create your account and click “Reset Password
An email will be sent to you to reset the password. Please make sure you check your spam folder. Note that should you enter your password incorrectly three times, you will be locked out of the account and should contact the customer service team for assistance via email@example.com or by using the live chat tool at the bottom right hand side of your club’s website.
