iFollow FAQ for CCFC fans overseas - 2018/19
What is iFollow?
iFollow offers fans the chance to watch selected live games and enjoy audio commentary from matches across the EFL.
What devices can I use for the iFollow service?
iFollow is available across desktop, mobile, tablet and app. Users watching matches live on a mobile will have to use the iFollow app, which is available via the App Store and Google Play Store by searching "Official Coventry City App”. There is currently no available app on the Amazon Appstore.
How much does an iFollow subscription cost?
Season passes are priced at the equivalent of £110:
- Australia - AUD$185
- Canada - CAD$190
- EU - €130
- USA - $140
Match Passes are available priced at the equivalent of £5.
What games can’t I watch live?
Matches shown by the EFL’s overseas broadcast partners are not available to watch live. They will have match replay available at Noon BST the day after the live event with an active iFollow premium subscription.
What games will fans outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland be able to watch live?
Fans can watch any game live that is not selected for broadcast by the EFL’s overseas broadcast partners. Latest blackout rules can be found on Broadcast Schedule: and the list of global territories and broadcast partners that Sky Bet EFL broadcasting rights in 2018/19
What commentary will be used on iFollow?
Coventry City use BBC Coventry & Warwickshire commentary.
What is the quality of the match coverage?
Every match on iFollow will come with single camera coverage as standard, with the feed enhanced with commentary and graphics.
Can I re-watch or buy a full match or highlights package if I missed the game live?
Full match footage and highlights will be available on iFollow from midday (GMT) the day after a regular season EFL league match.
Can I purchase packages for more than one club?
Fans can subscribe to multiple iFollow packages if required, though must sign up individually for each club.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are all accepted forms of payment for iFollow
What passes are available to buy?
International users can purchase a Season Pass (£110) or a Match Pass (£5). No other options are currently available for live streaming
If I sign up for a season pass will it automatically renew after 12 months and will I get notification of this?
Season passes run from the date of purchase to July 16th following the completion of the EFL season. Users will be notified prior to renewal

I am logged in elsewhere, but want to stream on another device. Is this possible?
Yes. The system will automatically stop playback on any other devices and the most recent log in will take precedent.
I would like to be able to buy the iFollow season pass for a club as a gift for someone else. How can I do that?
Gift passes are not currently available to purchase.
Can I create an iFollow account to purchase multiple match passes across various clubs?
If I have purchased a match pass, can I drop in and out of the coverage or join the match once it has started?
Yes, match pass holders can join the coverage at any time
I can't find a button to click through to the live video stream, how do I access it?
Please note that live video links become available thirty minutes before kick-off in the Match Centre. To locate the Match Centre sign in on your club’s website (top right of the page). Once signed in, select ‘Matches’ from the navigation bar and click on ‘Fixtures’. You can then select the relevant match.
Why am I getting a message about ‘Territory Restrictions’?
The iFollow subscription is location specific and the use of VPN is prohibited as per our terms and conditions. For more information contact iFollow support via email@example.com or by using the live chat tool at the bottom right hand side of your club’s website.
My App isn’t working
First please verify that location services are enabled on your mobile device and test the app on Mobile Data and Wi-Fi to determine any connection differences.
If you are still facing the same issue please follow the steps below:
- Exit the application
- Delete the app.
- Turn your device on and off
- Re-install the app from the relevant App Store.
I’m getting a blank screen when I try to play video
First, please clear your browser cache and cookies, refresh your browser and try accessing content again. If you still have issues please check for any updates available for your current browser and make sure cookies and third-party cookies are enabled.
If you have the same issues after trying those suggestions please try using an alternative web browser (i.e. Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox, Safari and Edge) to eliminate any browser specific issues. Please be sure to check that the browser is up to date and that cookies and third-party cookies are enabled.
How do I reset my password?
To reset your password, please follow these steps:
- Go to the club website you are signed up with
- Click on the sign in link
- Click the forgot password link
- Input the email address you used to create your account and click “Reset Password
An email will be sent to you to reset the password please make sure you check your spam folder. Note that should you enter your password incorrectly three times, you will be locked out of the account and should contact the customer service team for assistance via firstname.lastname@example.org or by using the live chat tool at the bottom right-hand side of your club’s website.
