The defender is one of two changes this afternoon...

3 November 2018

Sky Blues defender, Jordon Thompson makes his first league start for City this afternoon against Accrington Stanley at the Ricoh Arena.

Thompson comes in for Dujon Sterling, who has picked up a knock and he is one of two changes from the side that beat Doncaster last week.

Elsewhere, Abu Ogogo comes back into the starting eleven, as he replaces Tom Bayliss in the side, who has also picked up a knock.

In goal, Lee Burge remains between the sticks and he has a back four of Thompson, Tom Davies, Jordan Willis and Junior Brown infront of him.

Michael Doyle captains the side this afternoon and he is joined alongside birthday boy, Abu Ogogo, who makes his first league start since August.

In the attacking options, it’s as you were, as last weeks goalscorers Jordy Hiwula and Luke Thomas occupy the flanks.

Up top, Conor Chaplin and Jonson Clarke-Harris will lead the line for Mark Robins’ side against Accrington.

Sky Blues Xl: Lee Burge (GK), Jordon Thompson, Jordan Willis, Tom Davies, Junior Brown, Michael Doyle (C), Abu Ogogo, Luke Thomas, Jordy Hiwula, Conor Chaplin, Jonson Clarke-Harris.

Subs: Liam O’Brien (GK), Jack Grimmer, Dom Hyam, Liam Kelly, Jordan Shipley, Jodi Jones, Amadou Bakayoko.
