The Sky Blues have been drawn in Group E alongside League One Shrewsbury Town and Walsall, with one of the Category 1 clubs completing the group when drawn on the 12th July.
It turned out to be a memorable competition for Sky Blue supporters last season, progressing all the way to Wembley Stadium and lifting the Checkatrade Trophy in front of over 72,000 supporters against Oxford United.
