Ahead of our top of the table clash with Gillingham today we take a look at three players who have played for both, including one of last season's squad.

The other two include a former City boss and the other a former Premier League centre-back...

Frank Nouble

Nouble played for Gillingham in 2011 on loan from West Ham. The striker netted five goals in 13 games for the Gills, before spells with Wolves and Ipswich.

During his time with the Sky Blues, Nouble scored on his debut against Gillingham in the first game back at the Ricoh Arena. In his time with City, he made 34 appearances and scored seven goals.

Gary Breen

The former Irish international played for Gillingham in 1992 and was with the club for two years as he established himself in the Football League.

In 1997 he signed for the Sky Blues for £2.5m and played regularly in the Premier League. Breen played for five full seasons at Highfield Road before spells with West Ham, Sunderland, Wolves and Barnet.

Micky Adams

Former Sky Blues manager Adams was a direct transfer between the clubs during his playing days.

The current Tranmere boss started his career with the Gills in 1979 and moved to City in 1983.

Adams struggled with injury during his stay at Highfield Road, but took over as manager between 2005 and 2007.
