Look at our new price structure for the 2015/16 which includes JSBs under 12 getting a free ticket....
The kids are definitely alright when it comes to Coventry City’s Season Ticket prices for the 2015/16 season.
Season Tickets have gone on sale via the club’s website today and will go on sale in the CCFC Superstore and over the phone on Tuesday, May 5, from 9.30am.
Prices have been dramatically reduced across the board – with adults paying more than 25 per cent less than they did during the last full season at the Ricoh Arena.
And the club has maintained its firm commitment to attracting the next generation of supporters with a new pricing structure.
Junior Sky Blues (JSBs) under the age of 12 are still eligible for a free Season Ticket in the family zone, while JSBs between 12 and 16 have seen their Season Tickets in the family zone reduced to £23, which is just £1 per game.*
For juniors who don’t wish to join the JSBs, the cost of a Season Ticket in the family zone, which will now be situated in blocks 23 and 24 in the East Stand, will still only be £60.
There is no premium zone next season but prices for youngsters in the standard zone have also been cut.
For JSB under-12s, a Season Ticket in that area is just £23 (£1 per game), for JSBs over-12 it’s £46 (£2 per game) and for juniors who don’t become JSBs the cost is £80.
Chief executive Steve Waggott, said: “We all know that the last couple of seasons have seen really challenging times for the club.
“Moving forward, it’s vital that we drive revenues because 60 per cent of what we bring in can be spent directly on the pitch. However, we also recognise that we have to make football more affordable.
“We have reduced Season Ticket prices generally but I really wanted to make it as inexpensive and easy as possible for families with children to get up to the Ricoh and support the team. It’s vital that we attract the next generation of supporters who can become the lifeblood of the club.
“That’s why we’ve maintained the free Season Ticket for JSBs under-12 in the family zone and now it’s just £1 per game for JSBs between the age of 12 and 16.
“We know we have to get the product on the pitch right and that’s what we intend to do this summer – but by making it more affordable we hope that supporters can see our commitment to attracting them back to the Ricoh.”
Early Bird Season Tickets are now on sale and will rise to full price on Wednesday, July 1.
Supporters are able to buy on the web at www.ccfcshop.co.uk now and they will be available over the phone on 024 7699 2326 or 024 7699 2332 or in person at the CCFC Superstore from 9.30am on Tuesday, May 5.
