INJURY NEWS: "We've got a few knocks and niggles. Some sat out training." - Coventry City's Tony Mowbray

The City boss revealed some players didn't train today ahead of tomorrow's Ricoh Arena tie against Crewe Alexandra...

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has admitted there are a 'few niggles' in the City squad going into the Crewe Alexandra game.

The Sky Blues have had to endure a busy start to the 2015/16 League One season with their fourth game in two weeks tomorrow.

City were able to rest a number of players for the Capital One Cup game against Rochdale and utilise the bench as City went out on penalties.

Tomorrow's home game against the Alex, which is expected to see a bumper crowd, could see a few changes in the City line-up.

Mowbray said: "We're still a bit low on numbers so hopefully we can continue to keep the injury situation under control.

"We haven't got many options, we took 19 players to Millwall and it'll probably be the same 19 players tomorrow night.

"We'll have a look because there are players on the bench. There are a few who've picked up a few knocks and niggles who won't train today.

"We hope they'll be fine for tomorrow night so we can put out as stronger side as we can."
