Coventry City defender Matty Pennington has been ruled out of the crucial League One clash against Crawley with an ankle injury.
The Sky Blues defender has made 25 appearances since joining on loan from Everton and has returned to Goodison Park for treatment after being taken off at half-time in the defeat to Crewe.
Boss Tony Mowbray said: "We've spoken to Matty and Joe Royle at Everton and he's going to stay up there.
"It's a blow but he's going to try and come to the game on Sunday."
