The City striker will fly back to the UK later today after Canada recorded a 3-1 win over Jamaica in Toronto...
Coventry City striker Simeon Jackson played 35 minutes for the Canadian national team as they recorded an impressive 3-1 win over Jamaica.
The away side took the lead in Toronto in the first-half through a Kemar Michael Lawrence strike in the 30th minute but Birmingham City's David Edgar equalised a minute later.
It was Jackson's introduction in the second half which changed the game. The City striker came on in the 55th minute and it was him who won the free-kick which resulted in Marcel de Jong's 68th minute goal.
Tosaint Ricketts scored four minutes later to seal the win for the Canadian national team and Jackson will fly back to the UK later today.
The City striker will return to training with the squad on Friday ahead of the weekend's game against Yeovil Town at the Ricoh Arena.
