Thomas picked up his first cap for the Wales Under-19s as he continues his progression in the Welsh international set-up...
Coventry City striker George Thomas featured for the Wales Under-19s side in the 3-1 friendly win over Montenegro last week.
The Academy forward was rewarded for his excellent form in the City Under-21s, having scored against Sheffield United Under-21s in the 2-2 draw, with his first call-up for the Under-19s side.
The 17-year old started in midfield for Wales and played 90 minutes as Wales came from behind to record a 3-1 victory.
Two days later, Wales played Montenegro again and recorded a 2-1 win as Thomas was an unused substitute.
