Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has confirmed striker Frank Nouble remains a 'major doubt' for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game against Exeter City.
The 23-year old striker has missed City's last two games against Preston North End and Crawley Town after he picked up a groin injury during training.
Marcus Tudgay is also a doubt for the game against the Grecians whilst captain Reda Johnson will return to the match-day squad after suspension.
Defender Aaron Phillips was forced off in the first-half of the 2-2 draw against Crawley Town due to a shoulder problem and the City boss confirmed the club will assess his injury.
Pressley said: "We're hopeful Aaron will be ok. He has had a little bit of trouble over a period of time with that shoulder so we were a little bit concerned with him.
"We'll assess him today and see how he is tomorrow but it was a shame he had to come off as he was brilliant for us on the right wing.
"Frank Nouble remains a major doubt for us and Marcus Tudgay has picked up a back problem so he is also a doubt.
"Reda will return to the group for the game and we'll make a decision on him playing tomorrow."
