FAQ's - Coventry City vs Plymouth Argyle

12 November 2014

Check out our in-depth pre-match FAQ help sheet ahead of the Sky Blues' home clash with Argyle

I want to buy a match ticket on the night of the game. Where can I go?

We advise fans buying tickets on the night of the game to visit the Matchday Ticket Office at the Ricoh Arena. This will be open from 4pm right up until kick off at 7:45pm. This is cash only, but there is a cashpoint inside the main atrium at the stadium.

You can also buy on the cash turnstiles in the East Stand from 6:30pm when they open. Cash Turnstiles 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 will be open from 6:30pm against Plymouth, with more opening if demand requires it. (If you are a Plymouth fan, then you can use turnstile 5). If you want to sit in the West Stand areas, please visit the Matchday Ticket Office to buy your tickets.

The Superstore at the Gallagher Retail Park closes at 5:30pm on Wednesday, so all ticket sales from that point on will be at the Ricoh Arena.

What are the ticket prices?

All tickets are just £5 for our Johnstones Paint Trophy tie vs Plymouth- all zones, all ages… all £5!

What time is kick-off?

Kick-off on Wednesday night is 7:45pm.

I want a specific seat for the game- should I buy in advance or on the day?

If you really want to sit in a particular seat, you are best to buy in advance as we cannot sell you a specific seat on the night of the game.

Does my Season Ticket include the JPT game?

No, cup matches are separate to the Season Ticket so you will need to buy a match ticket for the Plymouth game.

Are all stands/lounges open?

No, unfortunately for this game not all of the stadium will be open.

East Stand – all blocks will be open.

West Stand- Blocks 1, 2, 3, 36, 37 & A will be open. All other blocks will be closed.

North Stand- this stand will be closed.

South Stand- this stand is open for Plymouth fans only.

Hospitality lounges- Legends Lounge and the Level One Lounge will both be available.

I have tickets to collect for the game. Where do I need to go?

You will be able to collect your ticket from the Matchday Ticket Office at the Ricoh Arena on the night of the game from 4pm. This is located at the previous CCFC Superstore near to the Jimmy Hill statue. Please bring with you proof of ID and proof of purchase if possible.

Hospitality ticket collections will be from a desk on the left hand side of the main atrium.

I want to go to the Casino before the game- shall I wait until after I’m done there to get my tickets?

If you are going to the casino before the match, we recommend that you buy or collect your tickets from the matchday ticket office before going into the casino. The matchday ticket office is at the old Superstore collection window, so is right next to the casino. By doing this beforehand, it means it will be quicker for you to get through the turnstiles after getting that last quick drink before the match!

Generally, we do advise fans to get the stadium early to help with entrance. Remember; the later you leave it, then the greater the risk of missing kick off – however hard we try to get you in on time!

With that in mind, don’t forget that you can use any of the turnstiles around the stadium to get in- not just the ones near to where you are sitting.

Where will the cash turnstiles be on Wednesday night?

Turnstiles 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 will be open in the East Stand from 6:30m against Plymouth, with more opening if demand requires it. (If you are a Plymouth fan, then you can use turnstile 5.)

If you want to sit in the West Stand areas, please visit the Matchday Ticket Office to buy your tickets.

What is the situation with car parking for the game?

Car Parking for Wednesday’s game is only £5!

You can pay ‘on the gate’ at Car Park’s A, B or C. If you have any queries about car parking, please e-mail karl.chester@ricoharena.com. Car parking is not available to buy from CCFC.

If you have a Seasonal Car Parking pass, please use the Cup Voucher in the back of your booklet. If you have used all of your cup passes in your booklet, you will need to buy a pass for £5.

What are the public transport options for Wednesday?

Matchdaysaver tickets can be purchased up to 4 hours prior to the game and can be used on all other services in Coventry.

Fares will be £5 for an Adult Coventry Matchdaysaver, £3.50 for a Child Coventry Matchdaysaver.

National Express Coventry or National Express West Midlands travelcard holders can travel for a £2 return supplement. nBus, nNetwork, Plusbus, daysavers, and concessionary passes will not be accepted. The details for our football buses are available here.

Is there going to be a Family Zone?

As it is a midweek cup game, there will be no Family Zone on Wednesday. The Family Zone will be back on Saturday for the game against Notts County in the usual location. However, Sky Blue Sam will be around the stadium so make sure you say hello and remember to tweet him @ccfcskybluesam!

Will the club’s retail be on-site on Wednesday?

There will be no retail on-site on Wednesday. However, remember you can see the full range of CCFC retail products online at www.ccfcshop.co.uk or in the CCFC Superstore at Gallagher Retail Park.

You can now pre-order stock to collect from the stadium on match day! Just place your order by 5pm on Tuesday and e-mail shop@ccfc.co.uk to confirm you would like to collect from the Ricoh Arena matchday ticket office on the day of the game between 4pm and 7:45pm.

Is the programme available on Wednesday?

Yes, the matchday programme PUSB will be available to buy around the ground for £2.
