'We're all disappointed' - Seaborne

8 February 2014

City defender Dan Seaborne wants to see more from the side and has urged them to respond...

Coventry City centre-back Dan Seaborne has urged his team-mates to put the defeat to Notts County behind them.

The Sky Blues slipped to a 3-0 loss at Meadow Lane thanks to goals from Hayden Mullins, Jimmy Spencer and Alan Sheehan.

City boss Steven Pressley had kept faith with the team that won at Bristol City in midweek but Seaborne said the side delivered a polar opposite performance.

And the defender, who signed for the club permanently in January, said they have to bounce back straight away.

He said: "We were poor today. Tuesday was the complete performance considering the conditions and we came out on top.

"But, today, it is the complete reverse. We just weren't at the races.

"We can't be like that if we want to put a run together. It's disappointing - all the lads are disappointed. We've missed a chance to beat a team that we feel we should be beating.

"Fair play to them, they came out on top today but we should be beating teams like this.

"We have to move on to the next one, prepare right, and get this one out of our heads as soon as possible."
