Sky Blues midfielder signs new contract

City midfielder commits himself to the Sky Blues for the next two-and-a-half years

Coventry City midfielder Billy Daniels has signed a contract extension which keeps him with the Sky Blues until June 2016.
 
Daniels, 19, penned the new deal on Friday which sees him extend his stay at the club for another two-and-a-half years.
 
The midfielder made his first team debut for the Sky Blues during August of last season in City's 1-0 Capital One Cup win at Dagenham & Redbridge.

The Bristol-born youngster progressed the City's youth set up and has enjoyed a flying start to the 2013/14 campaign, making eight appearances so far this season which included three goals in his first two games of the new campaign.
 
Daniels netted a brace in the 5-4 win at home to Bristol City before getting another in the 4-0 away win over Carlisle United. Check out all of Billy goals with our videos below!
 
Sky Blues boss Steven Pressley said he was delighted to be able to secure the services of such a promising young midfielder.
 
"Billy had an incredible start to his season which was great for him because his work ethic deserves success," he said.
