City boss clarifies Jordan Clarke's absence through injury for Boxing Day win over PoshCity boss Steven Pressley confirmed a foot injury to defender Jordan Clarke which kept him out of the Sky Blues' Boxing Day win over Peterboroughy United at Sixfields.
The Sky Blues ran out 4-2 winners thanks to a double from Leon Clarke and goals from Callum Wilson and Franck Moussa.
Jordan Clarke was a notable absentee from the matchday squad with Andrew Webster stepping in alongside Dan Seaborne at centre half and Pressley confirmed it was a minor foot injury keeping the youngster out.
Pressley said: "Jordan picked up a slight foot injury during the game at Swindon and that was aggravated somewhat in the lead up to today. I would probably think that Sunday's game with Oldham will also be too soon for him.
"Having said that I thought Andy Webster was absolutely magnificent today. He defended extremely well and I'm pleased for him and the performance he put in."
