REWIND: Coventry City 3-2 Preston

21 August 2013

As we lead up to the game against the Lilywhites at the weekend, watch highlights from the JPT Area Semi-Final...

Coventry City face Preston North End looking for their third consecutive win in League One following wins against Bristol City and Carlisle United.

The Sky Blues were unbeaten against the Lilywhites last season, recording two league draws and a famous win in the Johnstone Paint Trophy Area Semi-Final.

Steven Jennings put City ahead in the first half but goals from Luke Foster and Stuart Beavon after the break seemed to put the Lancashire club through to the JPT Area Final.

However, Carl Baker equalised for City in the first minute of added time and then Leon Clarke netted his first ever goal for the club in the fourth minute of added time to send City through to the JPT Area Final.

As we lead up to the match on Sunday, we thought we would treat all City fans by making highlights from that special night available to watch on our YouTube channel.
