Genesis Employment Services backing the Sky Blues!

Husband and wife team Richard and Gaynor Frost are backing the Sky Blues this season!

The couple, who run the Coventry based recruitment company Genesis Employment Services from Station Square, have decided to sponsor the back of the club’s home and away kits this season.

The company, which employs fully qualified recruitment consultants within its office, often has in excess of 500 temporary workers on assignments for it each week.

In addition to this, they regularly find local people new and alternative positions, and assist local companies with all their recruitment needs.

The new deal means Genesis Employment Services will not only see its name on the back of the shirts, it is also an official partner of the club and is a main sponsor on Coventry City’s new look website.

Richard said: “We have grown over the past six years, especially in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, and we are keen to raise our profile across the region and grow even further.

“We have an excellent reputation with both clients and staff and we now want to build on that.

“The opportunity to sponsor the backs of the team’s home and away shirts really interested us as we felt it could support our plans for growth on a regional basis.

“Ever since they moved to the Ricoh Arena we have been involved with the club and we see Coventry City as a really important part of the community in Coventry.

“We like to support charities and organisations where we can, and currently find ourselves in the position to be able to support the club which is great. We believe this will be a positive deal for Genesis and Coventry City.”

Richard, a specialist in catering, HR, training and management, joined forces with wife Gaynor, a recruitment specialist of 25 years, when they both decided to give up their day jobs and branch out on their own.

They now supply more than 50 companies with staff particularly in the engineering, manufacturing, agriculture, food manufacturing and industrial sectors.

Richard said: “We have been awarded a ‘Gangmasters’ licence, which means that the government has carried out rigorous checks to make sure our procedures and practices are to the highest standard.

“We are also ISO 9001:2008 accredited, are members of REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) and The ALP (Association of Labour Providers) which ensures we are always legally compliant and always aware of ever changing employment law.

“We want to grow even further now and attract new businesses and new people looking for work.”

Tynan Scope, commercial sales manager for Coventry City, said: “It’s great to see a Coventry company doing well and we are delighted with the support they have given us.

“This new sponsorship brings an added dimension to the deal we have with Genesis Employment Services and this will certainly raise their profile over the coming season.”
