This time it did not work in favour of top scorer David McGoldrick who was beaten into second place by....Carl Baker for the second of his two goals in the 5-0 away win over Hartlepool Utd!
The City skipper produced a magnificent touch to bring down Blair Adams' deep cross and fire in the Sky Blues' third goal in a rip-roaring performance over the Pools, edging out McGoldrick's 25-yard strike in the 3-1 win over Crawley Town and Franck Moussa's superbly worked strike in the 3-1 away win over Colchester Utd.
