City boss Mark Robins sends unified message of club support for Peter Ndlovu

Coventry City boss Mark Robins has passed on his best wishes and condolences to the family of Peter Ndlovu following a car accident on Saturday.

The former Sky Blues striker was involved in a serious accident in Zimbabwe which claimed the life of his brother Adam and one other, currently unnamed, passenger.

Peter was put into critical care following the accident in which a blown tyre forced his car, driven by his brother, to veer off the road 20km outside Victoria Falls.

Ndlovu is understood to be out of danger and Robins said he hoped the former player could rebuild his life after such a tragic incident.

"It was terrible to hear about Peter, his brother and the other passengers and we, as a club, want to pass on our best wishes and condolences," Robins said.

"Hopefully Peter will make a recovery that will enable him to rebuild his life because we all want that for him."
