'Moussa's been unbelievable find'

20 December 2012

Sky Blues boss sings the praises of in-form midfielder Franck Moussa

Coventry City boss Mark Robins has hailed Franck Moussa as an 'unbelievable find' in the wake of the midfielder's recent rich vein of form.

The Belgian playmaker has been a mainstay in Robins' starting line-up since his arrival at the club in August.

He opened his scoring account for the Sky Blues in their 5-0 away rout over Hartlepool last month and has followed it up with two more strikes in wins over Colchester and Doncaster.

The 23-year-old recently stated that he wants to extend his stay with City and Robins added he was working on the possibility of retaining his services beyond the end of his current deal which expires in the middle of January 2013.

"I'm obviously keen to keep Franck because he's done well so let's see what we can come up with," Robins said.

"He's told me he wants to carry on with us and he was out in the wilderness a bit when he came here and it's been to our benefit because he's been an unbelievable find for us.

"He's been a mainstay of the team and long may that continue."
