Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray is adamant that the Sky Blues will make “one or two” new signings over the next week.
Mowbray has been working tirelessly in his recruitment drive over the past few weeks and revealed that agents offer him around 20 players a day.
The manager said: “There will be one or two new faces in the building over the next week, we’re confident of that.
“We could have signed loads of players throughout the summer but I think the start of the season has proven we've got the right ones for the way we want to play.
"I literally get 20 players every day thrown at me. Some of them are tempting, some of them salary is five times what we can pay. Sometimes it makes you think, why are you offering him to us!? We are a League One club. But there's loads of scenarios like that, we have to get on with it.”
