Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray says that Sunday's League One relegation decider against Crawley Town on Sunday is 'a great challenge'.City need at least a draw to be sure of their League One survival whilst the Red Devils also need a win to ensure their own safety.
Mowbray says that there has been no anxiety on the training pitch however as the team travel to West Sussex for a last day shoot-out.
"You can't replicate what the atmosphere will be like," he said. "But there has been no anxiety on the training ground.
"You try and make the players aware of the scenarios but we don't know how the game will pan out today. It's in our own hands.
"As a player I have experienced big occasions, I got relegated on the final day with Middlesbrough and I was in the Play-Offs four times with Ipswich, so I know how it will feel in the stadium on Sunday.
"You can overplay the game if you are not careful enough. You don't want to make the players too nervous, you want them to be able to play their natural game.
"I can tell you now though, if we don't get the result it won't be through a lack of commitment or a lack of desire."
The City boss believes that experience is crucial on occasions such as this and it could prove a factor in the game.
He was also positive that the Sky Blues are in the best position out of the six teams involved in the relegation fight, with three clubs set to join Yeovil in League Two next season.
He continued: "Experience is important in games like this, people that have been there and done it before, they can help the younger lads out tremendously.
"Some of the youngsters may not have fear but there are others who may feel the pressure. That's where the older heads have to stand up and be counted.
"We just need to look after our own, if we are two goals up then suddenly none of the other games matter at all.
"You would rather be in our position than anyone else that's for sure, as we have it in our own hands.
"I'm sure the fans will be letting us know the other scores, but let's focus on our own game and not have to rely on anyone else."
