Date of birth
Ganeshan graduated from Barts & The London School of Medicine in 2014, and completed his Foundation Training in the West Midlands. He has worked across numerous medical and surgical specialities and is currently training as a surgeon.
Placing great importance on fitness and wellbeing since a young age, Ganeshan enjoys playing football, cycling, climbing and swimming. Since joining, he completed the Run 5K/day Prostate United Challenge with CCFC staff, raising awareness and money for Prostate Cancer UK and intends to continue engaging with regular fundraising activities and health promotion.
His role includes acute match-day cover of home and away fixtures, day-to-day management of medical issues for the first team, U23s and staff, assessment of injuries and engaging with rehabilitation protocols. He undertakes medical clinics at the training ground, as well as ensuring compliance with cardiac screening and doping regulations.
