Matty James joined Coventry City on loan from Leicester City in January 2020 until the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
James had been on loan at fellow Championship side Barnsley since October, making 15 appearances.
After starting his career at Manchester United, he signed for Leicester City in 2012 and has made 116 appearances for the Foxes, scoring 5 goals, among nearly 200 career games in total.
Matty was a key part of the Leicester City side that won the Championship title in 2014 and has made nearly 50 appearances in the top-flight for the side.
