After joining the Sky Blues initially on loan, Callum O’Hare penned a three-year-deal with City during the summer of 2020.

O’Hare began his career with Aston Villa, working his way through the academy at Bodymoor Heath, before making his debut for the Villains in 2017 against Colchester United. This would be the first of nine appearances Callum would make before departing in 2020.

During his time with Villa, Callum enjoyed two loan spells, firstly linking up with Carlisle United in League Two, before joining the Sky Blues in 2019.

In his first season at the club, Callum made an immediate impact and played a key role in helping the Sky Blues secure promotion back to the Championship and to the League One title.

With his signature sought after, O’Hare returned to the Sky Blues for the 2020/21 season and became the only player to play in every league game, as City secured their highest league finish since 2006.

O’Hare’s performances were recognised by the supporters and players as he was named the Players’ Player, Young Player and Player of the Season.

The 2021/22 season was more of the same for Callum, as he continued his fine form, making 47 appearances, scoring five goals as well as winning the Sky Blues JSB Player of the Year.

However, his start to the 2022/23 campaign was hampered by injury with O'Hare forced to miss the opening rounds with a hamstring problem. Upon his return to the side, he immediately impressed as Coventry climbed from the bottom of the Championship and into the top half.
