Davies started his career in the youth set-ups of Manchester United and Blackburn, before spells at clubs including FC United of Manchester, Fleetwood Town and Accrington Stanley, prior to joining Pompey in 2016.
The 25 year old central defender became City’s 13th signing of the summer transfer window and made his debut in the 0-0 draw against Chesterfield at the Proact.
Tom battled for a place in the starting eleven during the 17/18 season and nailed down a place after the turn of the year.
Davies went on to make 25 appearances for Mark Robins side, as City would go on to win the League Two Play-Off final and gain promotion to League One.
