The Sky Blues completed the signing of defender Declan Drysdale on a two-and-a-half year deal in the January Window of 2019.
Drysdale rose through the ranks at Rovers, making two appearances for Rovers, making his debut at 17 in the National League, as well as featuring in Tranmere’s promotion to League Two.
Declan joined the Sky Blues in 2019 and quickly forged a partnership with Morgan Williams at the heart of the defence for the 23s, as they reached the Professional Development League semi-final.
The following season saw Drysdale make his debut for the Sky Blues and also his Football League debut against Rochdale, before being loaned out to National League side Solihull Moors for the remainder of the season.
The 2020/21 season also saw Drysdale out on loan again, as he initially linked-up with Gillingham in League One before spending the second half of the season on loan with Cambridge United in League Two, where he helped the U’s win automatic promotion.
