Coventry City

Meyler started his career at Cork City, but within the same year saw him move to Sunderland.

After three years with Sunderland a loan move to Hull City was made permanent a year later, where he would spend the next fiver years making over 150 appearances in his five years with the club. In 2018 Meyler made the move to Reading on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old, Irish international joined the Sky Blues on loan from Reading on the January 2019 deadline day. The experienced midfielder captained the side in his first appearance for Coventry, when they faced Gillingham at the Ricoh Arena.

Meyler has become a key part of the Coventry City squad since joining, after captaining both Hull and Ireland, his experience utilised on the pitch and on the training ground to help with the young Sky-Blue squad.
