Sky Blues secure midfielder on loan for the rest of the season

Coventry City have re-signed Derby County midfielder James Bailey on loan for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old had been a mainstay in Mark Robins' starting line-up during his initial 93-day emergency loan spell with the Sky Blues which ended on Boxing Day after City's 3-1 win away at Stevenage.

Bailey missed Saturday's 3-2 away win at MK Dons after having to return to Pride Park but Robins has moved quickly to re-sign him until the end of the 2012/13 campaign.

During his emergency loan spell, which started in late September, he made 18 appearances and scored one goal.

Robins said: "I'm absolutely delighted. He's shown in his time with us the contribution he can make and I just want to thank Derby for letting us have him for the rest of the season.

"I hope now that James can continue to have the kind of impact he's already shown he can have for us."
