NEWS: Priority Points totals refreshed

13 May 2024

Coventry City can confirm that Priority Points have been refreshed following the end of the 2023/24 season and ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Introduced in 2022, the system proved popular with supporters in making sure that those who most regularly attend matches and purchase tickets receive the highest level of ticket priority, especially for away matches.

Ahead of each season, the oldest season’s points are removed to ensure that the points are reflective of current supporter behaviour and purchases – meaning points from the 2020/21 season have been removed over the last 24 hours.

Fans who purchase a 2024/25 Season Ticket, which went on sale today, will receive 230 Priority Points.

Coventry City will provide a full update for fans during the summer regarding points allocations for the 2024/25 season, however we’d like to take this chance to remind fans:

  • Points are allocated to the supporter who a ticket was assigned to – if this was not done at the point of purchase, this will have been assigned to the ticket buyer and cannot be reassigned to other supporters retrospectively.
  • Points are allocated per game – buying multiple tickets for a game will not accrue additional points.
  • Points are allocated to tickets purchased via our ticketing system i.e. via the Ticket Office or online. Tickets purchased at Cash Turnstiles or at away clubs do not result in points being allocated to supporter accounts and cannot be claimed back retrospectively.
