TRAVEL: Advice for fans travelling by train on Saturday

12 March 2024

Ahead of Saturday's Emirates FA Cup tie at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry City have been informed of travel advice for fans heading to the game via train.

The Sky Blues face Wolves in the FA Cup Quarter Final on Saturday 16th March, with a 12:15pm kick-off at Molineux.

Supporters travelling to the game by rail have been advised to travel from Coventry to Wolverhampton railway station, rather than use alternative routes.

This is instead of using the tram system which also operates from outside Birmingham New Street station to Wolverhampton railway station.

Large numbers of West Bromwich Albion and Bristol City supporters are expected to be travelling on the tram system from Birmingham New Street due to their match at the Hawthorns on the same day at 3pm, therefore Sky Blues fans are encouraged to travel directly to Wolverhampton.

Journey planning and travel information can be found on the Transport for West Midlands website here

Supporters are also reminded of the information issued regarding the closure of the Junction 10 northbound slip road on the M6
