Brad Collins is hoping him, and his teammates can end the season on a high, as they enter the business end.
City sit in 8th coming into the final nine league fixtures, with four points separating themselves and the final play-off position.
The Sky Blues begin their final run in against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The international break…
“It’s nice to have a rest but we had started to pick up some wins and gain some momentum, so hopefully we can carry that on now heading into the final run.
We had some time off, but we’re always working. It’s a bit of both and that’s the way the Gaffer likes it, and it works well.”
Reflecting on the Wolves victory…
“You look back at it and think what win it was, but our focus is straight back onto the league now because we have some big games coming up.
It was bigger than I thought at the time looking back at it now. It was a fantastic occasion for us, the fans and the whole club and we have a trip to Wembley coming up which is brilliant.”
Coming up against Huddersfield Town…
“It’s another big game for us and it’s the first of two in quick succession now and it’s another game that we need three points.
We picked up some positive results before the break, after a few disappointing ones, but it’s the business end of the season now and we need to get wins on the board.
We’re really in confident within ourselves and we’re looking forward to going there and trying to get three points.”
The end of the season…
“We’d like to be as high as possible but considering the season we’ve had and the start we had, we’ve really come on and we’re looking to really push on and try and get into the play-offs.”
His journey this season…
“I knew coming in it was going to be tough. Ben had an unbelievable season the previous year and I knew I had to bide my time.
I feel like since I’ve come in, I’ve done quite well and there’s still more games to go and it’s about finishing the season positively.”
