Coventry City striker Justin Obikwu has agreed a new contract with the Sky Blues, and has completed a loan move to League Two side Grimsby Town until the end of the season.
Obikwu signed his first professional contract in July 2023, and found the back of the net in City's first pre-season fixture against Forest Green Rovers, adding the fourth in a 4-0 win.
His new deal will see him remain with City until 2025.
The striker trained with the first team during pre-season, joining Mark Robins' side out in Portugal on tour, and has been in the first-team matchday squad on a number of occasions this campaign.
Last season, Obikwu enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with the Under 21s side, featuring on a regular basis throughout the campaign and scoring goals, helping fire City to the Birmingham Senior Cup final.
Everyone at Coventry City wishes Justin the best of luck for his spell at Grimsby Town, which is his first loan move from the Sky Blues.
