Coventry City striker Justin Obikwu made his debut for Grimsby Town on Saturday, playing his part in a thrilling 5-5 draw against Notts County.
Obikwu, who will spend the rest of the season with the Mariners, completed his loan move to Blundell Park on Friday and was named on the bench for the visit of County.
The 19-year-old was introduced in the 85th minute, with his side then 5-4 down, and was on the field as they snatched a dramatic late equaliser.
Moments later, Obikwu had the chance to win the game but, from a near-impossible angle, his effort was saved by an out-rushing goalkeeper.
Jack Burroughs and Riccardo Di Trolio were also in action for their loan Clubs over the weekend.
Burroughs played 66 minutes from Lincoln City in a 1-1 draw, taking his total number of appearances for the Sky Bet League One side this season up to 24.
Di Trolio, meanwhile, helped Bishops Stortford to a comfortable 6-1 win over Aldershot Town in the FA Trophy.
Ryan Howley remains poised to return for to action at Dundee, who are currently on a winter break, while Marco Rus was unavailable for Chorley.
