Coventry City goalkeeper Brad Collins says he is delighted to have played his part in the Club's 3-1 win at Middlesbrough on New Years' Day with a number of important saves.
City fell behind early on and could have been a number of goals down were in not for a number of Collins saves.
However, the Sky Blues fought back to win 3-1 with goals from Tatsuhiro Sakamot (2) and Haji Wright.
On the result in Middlesbrough:
"I think we were under the cosh a little bit when they opened the scoring and then, obviously to score straight after their goal was a big moment for us going into the break.
"And then we change a few things at the break and then I thought that second half was really comfortable.
"I think it just shows the mentality of the group at the moment. I think it's one defeat in eleven, so it shows that we’re going in the right direction."
On Tatsuhiro Sakamoto's performance, who scored twice:
"Tatsu [Sakamoto] is obviously a fantastic player and I think everyone can see that.
"He has unbelievable ability on the ball and his work rate going forward and backwards is tremendous, so credit to him.
"I think it took them a little bit of time to settle in but now you can see how much of a fantastic player he is and I’m buzzing for him, he deserves it."
On his game-changing saves for City:
"Obviously, it's nice to help the team out and contribute to the three points. It feels good.
"I am happy to help to team to build on these run we're on, but it's all about winning games, and as long as we keep winnign game's I am happy."
On the turnaround following a difficulty start:
"It's been tough, and you’ve look at some of the boys and they're on their last legs, it's been tough. But it’s the same for everyone in the Championship.
"It's all about maintaining performance really and when you look back it’s been a brilliant festive period for us."
