20 February 2024

Coventry City Football Club and the Coventry City Former Players Association are delighted to announce new details of Legends Day 2024!

Legends Day 2024 will now take place on Saturday 4th May, on the final home game of the Sky Bet Championship season, when Coventry City will play Queens Park Rangers.

This year’s Legends Day was due to take place against Preston North End, but has now been re-arranged following the Sky Blues progress in the Emirates FA Cup and the knock on effect on fixtures.

It is always a tremendous occasion, so make sure you book your place to join us on Legends Day!

Fans can expect around 40 former players to join them on the day to enjoy three-course hospitality in the Premier Lounge, with inclusive beer, wine and soft drinks pre-match and at half-time plus the chance to meet & mingle with the former players.

A number of popular names are expected to be in attendance on what is always a special day in the Coventry City calendar, with the former players also being introduced onto the pitch to fans at half-time.

As well as spending the afternoon with the Legends, you'll get to enjoy a whole range of benefits which include:

  • Welcome drink on arrival
  • Three course dining in the glass-fronted Premier Lounge overlooking the pitch
  • Inclusive beer, wine and soft drinks – pre-match and halftime

  • Padded seat on the upper balcony adjacent to the restaurant
  • Complimentary matchday programmes and team sheets
  • Half-time tea and coffee
  • Man of the Match presentation

Coventry City’s Chief Commercial Officer Tynan Scope said:

"We are very pleased to confirm the new date for this year’s Legends Day.

“After our FA Cup progress and the knock on effect on fixtures, it was important to make sure that a new date was found for this great day in our calendar.

"Thanks to the hard work of the Former Players Association and its volunteers, we will be bringing back a range of players from the Club’s brilliant past and giving Sky Blues fans the chance to enjoy the day alongside them.

"It’s always a very popular day amongst our supporters, so we encourage fans to book their place as soon as possible.”

Dining will be on shared tables of 10, alongside other supporters.
