INTERVIEW: Mark Robins on Coventry City's trip to Birmingham and Milan van Ewijk's fitness

Coventry City travel to St Andrews in the Sky Bet Championship...

Mark Robins says Milan van Ewijk will be fit to feature against Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon as he looked ahead to this weekend's fixture.

The latest on Milan van Ewijk's injury:

Everybody came through Tuesday night okay, so we are as we were going into that one. I will review later.

Milan ran into the goalkeeper and that winded him. That was all it was, it was nothing.

Looking ahead to Saturday's game, and the play-off race:

We are still on the coat tails of Norwich and West Brom are pulling away so we need ot try and pick points up where we can do.

We've picked up three points against Leeds but then dropped points in the other two games and it has been difficult.

On Fabio Tavares, who impressed the other night:

Kyle Walker-Peters is a very good player but he was tested by Fabio. The ball in for the goal was really good and it was finished well by Jake [Bidwell].

There was also another cross for Haji [Wright] that Haji felt he was pulled over for, in the area.

He was good and has done himself no harm.

On playing against Birmingham City:

We will always be grateful to them about the time we spent at St Andrews, where we won promotion to the Sky Bet Championship by winning Sky Bet League One.

They need the points and we're all in the game for that. They had a difficult evening agaisnt Cardiff the other night and lost 1-0.

Birmingham are only losing games by the odd goal. They have some really good players and they've had chances in managers this season.

They looked like they were turning a corner there this season and I really wish Tony all the best with his recovery, I hope he is back quickly.

They're not far away from getting decent results and they just came up short last time. There are no easy games and this one will be the same.

We need the points and we'll be going all out to get them.
