CHARITY: Myton Hospice collection on Tuesday vs Ipswich Town

29 April 2024

Coventry City are delighted to welcome Myton Hospices to Tuesday night's home game against Ipswich Town for a charity collection.

It's an 8pm kick-off on Tuesday 30th April at the Coventry Building Society Arena for the Sky Bet Championship game.

Collectors for Myton Hospices will be around the ground pre-match, so fans are encouraged to bring cash if they wish to donate and support them.

Below, Myton Hospices explain about the work that they do:

At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option.

We are not just about end of life care, we are here to support patients and their loved ones right from the moment they are diagnosed.

We have three hospices in Coventry, Rugby and Warwick, and have the only Hospice Inpatient beds in Coventry and Warwickshire.

We care for people living with a wide range of terminal illnesses including Respiratory, Heart & Neurological conditions, Cancer and Organ failure.

This year we need to raise £11m to continue providing our services free of charge. We rely on donations and support from our local communities.

Last year, we supported almost 2,000 people and their families, in our hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
