NEWS: New Superstore opens!

4 September 2023

Coventry City manager Mark Robins was on hand to cut the ribbon on the launch night of the Club’s new Superstore on Thursday night!

The Superstore, which is located in the South-West corner of the Coventry Building Society Arena, is the new home for the Sky Blues’ retail offering at the Arena, and players Jamie Allen and Callum O’Hare were also on hand to launch the store.

The new space considerably increases the size of the Club’s retail operations at the Arena, allowing for a greater range and quality of merchandise for Sky Blues fans to purchase.

Trainingwear and leisurewear are available already in the Superstore, with home kit available shortly following the fulfilment of pre-orders. There are also a range of other items too, including clothing, personalised gifts, posters, accessories and more – with a range of new products and ranges, including retro shirts and items, becoming available over the coming weeks and months.

The Superstore will also include the non-matchday Ticket Office, with the Ticket Office on matchdays remaining in its current location.

The launch evening provided invited guests, including sponsors and volunteers, an exclusive first peak at the Superstore and new products too, before around 200 fans were able to take a look at the new Superstore too following the ribbon cutting - with many being impressed by the much improved and modern retail space.

Doug King, Executive Chairman and Owner, said:

“It was great to launch our new Superstore at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Thursday evening.

“The new Superstore allows us to greatly increase the breadth and quality of our retail offering to supporters and the space is much improved compared to our previous store.

“This shows to supporters the aims that we have for the Club and fans will see improvements in this important area of the Club as we drive revenue to support the team.”

Rasoul Didarzadeh, Head of Retail at Coventry City, said:

“We have been delighted with the feedback received about the new Superstore from fans.

“We will be getting a variety of exciting new products and ranges over the coming weeks and months, and the new Superstore allows us to create the type of quality retail experience that we want to provide to our supporters moving forward.”

Coventry City would like to thank Scott Joyce Builders and Moseley Signs, and Paul Addison and the team at M2K who did the shop fit out, as well as Coventry Building Society Arena and Frasers Group for their support.
