11 September 2023

Three of the Coventry City squad were in international action over the weekend.

Joel Latibeaudiere and Kasey Palmer both started for Jamaica as they were 1-0 winners over Honduras in their Concacaf Nations League opening game. You can see highlights from the game here.

Both of the Sky Blues men started in midfield, with Joel completing the 90 minutes and picking up a yellow card while Kasey featured for 65 minutes of the game. Jamaica's next fixture is against Haiti, with a 01:00BST kick-off time for the game on 13th September in Kingston.

Meanwhile Yasin Ayari played the full 90 for Sweden Under 21s, as his side were defeated in the UEFA U21 Championship qualifying home game against North Macedonia. They will be hoping for a more positive result in Tuesday's reverse fixture.
