The Sky Blues are back at the Coventry Building Society Arena for this weekend's meeting with Stoke City in the Sky Bet Championship.
Meet Stoke City:
The Potters will arrive at the Coventry Building Society on an impressive run of form, having only been beaten by table-toppers Leicester City in recent times.
Their recent run has seen them dispose of Sunderland (2-1), Leeds United (1-0) and Middlesbrough (0-2), as well as holding Cardiff City to a goalless draw.
Right-sided defender Ki-Jana Hoever has been their most impressive player, while Enda Stevens, Saed Haksabanovic, and Ben Wilmot have also impressed.
Former Coventry City defenders Luke McNally and Michael Rose have also drawn praise for their early season performance, having formed a defensive partnership for Alex Neil's side that has conceded just two goals in their last six games.
Mark Robins' verdict:
“They've got a clear way of doing things, tactically they may change for certain opponents but overcome what they have.
“We go into this game certainly hoping we can turn the results around but maintain performance levels in the main, because like I say there's been a lot of good things.
“They've got some good players and they've recruited, and they've changed quite dramatically as well, but they've got some good players in the ranks, two of which we know pretty well with Luke McNally and Michael Rose. So that'll be interesting in itself.”
