Coventry City Under-18s will face Preston North End Under-18s in the third round of the FA Youth Cup, it has been confirmed.
The young Sky Blues will travel to Deepdale for a 19:00GMT kick-off on Wednesday 6 December, for their first fixture in this season's prestigious youth competition.
City won the competition in 1987, completing a famous FA Cup and FA Youth Cup double, and reached the final in back-to-back campaigns (1998-99 and 1999-2000).
Last season, Coventry were defeated by eventual semi-finalists Southampton, following a six-goal thriller in Leamington.
