Turnstiles open at 10am - the advised turnstile for entry is shown on your ticket, but you can use any other turnstiles if you wish to avoid any queues.

Most turnstiles close at Midday (kick-off time) but late turnstiles, which remain open until half-time, are numbers 18 (East Stand) and 45 (West/North Stand).

Fans are advised to arrive early on Sunday due to the bumper attendance.

You are also advised to have your Season Ticket, e-ticket or Match Ticket ready to be scanned as you approach the turnstile.

See our advice for fans here.

Due to the current national terror threat level, there will also be searches on entry. We may also ask to search your bag. We’ll be as quick as we can when undertaking our searches, but please allow some extra time for this to take place and co-operate with our security staff.

Where appropriate/neccessary, staff may use a searching wand for this to take place safely with supporters.

M6 Northbound Closure – Junction 4 to Junction 6

  • A full closure of the M6 northbound carriageway and associated north facing arms of the M42 at Junction 7 and Junction 8 will occur on Saturday 13 May from 9pm to 6am on Monday 15 May.
  • Diversion routes are expected to be very busy, if you are able to avoid driving through this area, please do so and consider taking a wider alternative route.
  • There is the option to use the M6 Toll as an alternative for the duration of this closure.
  • M6 southbound journeys are not affected.
  • Further information can be found on the National Highways

West Midlands Trains will provide their usual hourly service, with an extra carriage to ensure all services operate with 3 carriages on Sunday.

More information and booking details about trains throughout the country can be found at www.nationalrail.co.uk.

Why can’t more trains be provided between Coventry and Coventry Arena?

Infrastructure restrictions on the Leamington Spa – Nuneaton line combined with platform capacity at Coventry station means that services on the line remain hourly.

The Sky Blue Tavern is running return travel from the Tavern in the City Centre to Dhillon's Brewery, close to the Arena, offering fans an alternative to driving to the Arena or other public transport. For details or to book, click here or visit their social media.

Sky Blue Tavern - by Rich Phillips Photography 01825.jpg

The Sky Blue Tavern is located at Hertford Place, near Junction 7 of Coventry Ring Road. The Tavern has a Sky Blues theme, with historic images and memorabilia throughout the two-story building, and is the place to go for Sky Blues supporters. This season there is a new Indian Menu too! It is open from 8am on Sunday - for info visit www.skybluetavern.com

A shuttle bus is available to book from the Tavern over to Dhillon’s Brewery, near to the Arena – with a drink or food option included.

Meanwhile the Fan Zone at Dhillon’s Brewery will also be open on Sunday too from 8am at Unit 14A Hales Industrial Estate, Rowley’s Green Lane (CV6 6AT) – a short walk to the Coventry Building Society Arena for the game.

Hugely popular, it includes a 20-foot TV screen, indoor bar and a covered outdoor seating with room for hundreds of Sky Blues fans, plus DJ Big Smithy playing some great music too! There's a CCFC Sky Blue Army mural, two outdoor screens, extensive food choices and two outdoor mini bars!

The match is live on Sky Sports - it is not available to watch on iFollow in the UK

The match is not available on iFollow overseas, except in areas not covered by the EFL's broadcast agreements - details here

Audio commentary of the game is available on iFollow in the UK and overseas.

The Coventry Building Society Arena is an all-seater stadium.

Following communication from authorities regarding this, Coventry City and the Arena have been asked to remind Sky Blues supporters that persistent standing is not allowed at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Persistently standing for the whole match or for long periods is against ground regulations and may affect the enjoyment of the game for other supporters, whose view may be affected, as well as your safety and the safety of others.

Coventry City are reminding fans not to enter the pitch before, during or after Sunday's Play-Off Semi-Final against Middlesbrough at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Entering the pitch is a criminal offence.

Fans who do so face police and court action, and multi-year ban from Coventry City home and away matches.

More information can be seen here.

The Coventry Building Society Arena is a licensed premise.

It’s illegal for under-18s to buy alcohol anywhere in the UK.

Under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003, it is illegal in England and Wales:

  • To sell alcohol to someone under the age of 18 anywhere.
  • For someone under the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy alcohol.
  • For an adult to buy or attempt to buy alcohol on behalf of someone under the age of 18.

The Coventry Building Society Arena operates a 'Challenge 25' policy.

Here is the seating plan for Sunday's game:

play-off-seating-plan-updatedv2.jpg

For this match, we have reduced the away allocation to only 2000 tickets in 7, 8 and 9 in line with EFL regulations for Play-offs, - this has meant we have been able to open blocks 11 and 12 for home supporters, and have as many Sky Blues fans as we are able to at the game.

The configuration of the concourse area in the South Stand is also not appropriate for any more supporters than we have currently in this area, due to the size of area once the shutters are down and also the kiosk/toilet facilities.

When discussing the then-potential fixture a number of weeks ago, agreement was made with the stadium safety team that we could only make this available, or let supporters know about this, once other areas were sold out.

We have been required by the stadium's safety team to keep the Jimmy Hill flag in Block 13, to stop migration by fans from the East Stand into the South Stand in the stadium bowl.

Segregation between home and away fans is maintained in Blocks 6 and 10, with this being significantly reduced compared to previous league matches this season.

In taking this approach, we have managed to achieve more tickets for sale in the home areas for Sky Blues, but reduce the overall capacity for this games as opposed to the recent home League fixture with Birmingham City.

We want to make clear that our aim as a Club is always to have as many Sky Blues fan in the Arena as possible supporting the team and we always strive to do this - however, we are required to do this by working with the stadium safety team and its safety officer, plus the Safety Advisory Group and in adherence to the safety certificate of the stadium.
