Coventry City are delighted to confirm that assistant manager Adi Viveash has signed a new contract with the Club.

Adi joins manager Mark Robins in committing his future to the Sky Blues, also signing a four-year deal.

Adi has been a vital part of the Sky Blues management team since his arrival at Ryton in August 2017.

A hugely respected coach within the game, Adi has been integral to the Club’s recent success, including the League Two play-off victory, the League One title and re-establishing the Sky Blues in the Championship, with the Club in the Championship Play-Off Final.

As a player, Adi has spells at Swindon, Reading and Walsall, before embarking on a coaching career which include a trophy laden spell at Chelsea, where he led the Blues Under 18s to three consecutive FA Youth Cup finals and UEFA Youth League victories in 2015 and 2016, and played a key role in the development of several international and Premier League stars.

Doug King, Executive Chairman and Owner, said:

"I am absolutely delighted that Adi has agreed to continue his great work alongside Mark Robins at the club.

"He has been extremely influential in the resurgence of the club over the last few years and as a new era begins with exciting challenges I know he retains the hunger and ambition that we need to reach our goals."

Adi Viveash said:

“I am very proud and humbled by the new contract and would like to extend my thanks to Doug and the board of directors for their continued faith.

"I look forward to helping this great club and its amazing supporters to continue to improve.”
