PREVIEW: City entertain the Tigers at the Coventry Building Society Arena

City take on Hull at the CBS Arena...

10 March 2023

Following back-to-back away fixtures, the Sky Blues return to the Coventry Building Society Arena to face Hull City.

Meet the Tigers:

Since the arrival of Liam Rosenior before the World Cup break, Hull have enjoyed a resurgence, which has seen them climb the Championship table.

The Tigers sat a place above the relegation zone when Rosenior arrived, having lost ten of the previous 14 games.

Rosenior has guided Hull to 13th in the Championship heading into this weekend, with four defeats in their last 16 games.

The former Derby manager came in to replace Shota Arveladze, marking his first permanent role in management.

More recently, the Tigers were victorious against play-off chasing West Bromwich Albion, a first win in six games for Hull City.

Inside the Sky Blues camp:

"Hull have a really good squad. The new owner has put money in, and they’ve brought in quite a number of players," said Mark Robins.

"They’ve got some talented players in their ranks, and it will be a tough game tomorrow. We’re looking to try and use the confidence we have, but we have to do what’s right in this game.

"It will be a difficult task against good, talented players. Last week out they had a good result against West Brom, so we know what they can do."

Hull City 1-0 Cardiff City
