NEWS: Important travel info for Saturday, with M6 Southbound closure in place

31 March 2023

Coventry City has been made aware this morning of important travel information affecting fans travelling on the M6 Southbound this Saturday when we play Stoke City.

National Highways are closing the M6 southbound between Junction 4 to Junction 3 from Friday 31st March at 8pm until Monday 3rd April at 6am to carry out resurfacing work - therefore affecting our home game on Saturday against Stoke City at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

During the closure, a full diversion route will be in place as pictured below from the M42 Junction 6 and then along the A45.

Fans can still get to the Arena - however due to this closure we expect alternative routes to the Arena to be busier than normal, so we advise all fans to leave extra time for their journey on Saturday.

Please note Industrial action by the RMT affecting Train Operating Companies in our region, has been suspended for Saturday 01 April 2023. A normal timetable is expected to operate on these dates. For timetable information please visit National Rail Enquiries
