On 8 November 2022, the Sky Blues made it seven wins in 11 games by beating Wigan Athletic in a memorable meeting at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Gustavo Hamer's deflected strike and a late goal from Viktor Gyökeres was the difference between the two teams, on an evening dominated by the home side.
Coventry had chances to score through Tyler Walker, Kasey Palmer and Gyokeres - but it was midfielder Hamer who broke Wigan Athletic hearts with just twelve minutes left on the clock.
And deep into stoppage time, with the visitors pushing for a leveler, Gyokeres broke free to make it two.
