Pitch 2 is undergoing its final preparations ahead of the Sky Blues returning to Ryton in July.
Work on Pitch 1 got underway earlier this week, with the old hybrid surface now being removed. The whole pitch will be removed over the coming days, while the bank at the rear of the pitch will be graded and the rest of the fencing also replaced.
In front of the Sky Blue Lodge building, fencing, paving and plants have all been removed - this area will have new planting areas installed alongside astro-turf going from the building out to the pitches. The small canopy at the front of the Lodge will also be replaced.
