Coventry City have signed Bologna defender Luis Binks on loan!
The 21-year-old join the Sky Blues until the end of the 2023/24 season*.
Binks began his career in the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, featuring heavily for their Under 18s and 21s before leaving Spurs in February 2020 to sign a professional contract with Montreal Impact in the MLS.
He would play 8 games for Impact before he caught the attention of Bologna, moving to the Italian side in August 2020 – though he would complete the 2020 MLS season at Montreal, playing a further 17 games for them.
Binks made his Bologna debut in September 2021 and has made 15 appearances so far in Serie A for the Club. The 22/23 season would see Luis enjoy a 34-game loan spell at Serie B side Como.
Gillingham-born, the central defender has represented England up to Under 19 level and is eligible to play for Scotland, having been called up at Under 16 and Under 18 age groups.
